I am still learning and looking for the new ways to improve my skills.

Today I want to share with you my brand new soutache earrings.

Soutache is absollutly stunning technique derived from India. It is decorative braid, used in the trimming of drapery or clothing.

Cotton caftans and tunics often have soutache embroidery as well and have been traditionally worn by people all over the world, including Russia, West Africa and Morocco. Mariachi uniforms, worn by musicians who play the music originating from Jalisco, Mexico, are known for their colorful soutache braided designs as well.

Soutache is a French word thought to have been first used in the mid 1800's. It comes from the Hungarian word sujtas, which means braid used for trimming. Another word for soutache is galloon.

Nowadays it is crazy what artists all over the world can make from bunch of cord and beads or stones ..  

My first soutache earrings listed  today on Etsy are quite simple.. But I love simplicity I hope you consider them Elegant as I do.
